Our Vision

“Where there is no vision, the people perish . . .”  -  Proverbs 29:18

The importance of vision cannot be overstated. God has placed in our hearts His vision of “Building Better Tomorrows Today.” Above anything else a church can offer, be it preaching, worship or great programs, nothing connects people like the love of God and the hope for a brighter future. Because of that, it is our intention to be a church where the genuine and unconditional love of God can be experienced in true community.

Through all biblical, practical and culturally relevant means possible, we seek to emulate and demonstrate the love of God in a way that will:

        1) transform the hearts of those who may not believe back to God,
        2) disciple and train all believers according to the purposes of God and
        3) encourage and meet the needs of all believers, inspiring them in the ways of
             God.

To this end we devote our time, talents and resources. Regardless of your past or present circumstances, we look beyond the issues of life and, through God’s love, seek a ‘new beginning’ for your future. We invite you to visit New Beginnings and consider being a part of the great vision of “Loving People to Life.”

Our Beliefs

1.   We believe that the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible and authoritative rule of faith and conduct.

2.   We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the
Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.

3.   We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His
sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary work on the cross, in His
bodily resurrection and in His ascension to the right hand of God.

4.  We believe man was created good and upright, but by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death which is separation from God.

5.  We believe that man’s only hope of redemption is through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

6.   We believe that Jesus Christ has given the church the ordinances of water baptism and communion.  Water baptism by immersion is the way to outwardly express identification with Christ.  Communion or the Lord’s Supper is a celebration of remembering Christ’s death until He returns.

7. We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4 is available to all believers, and given to those that ask.

8.   We believe that the initial physical evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit is speaking in other tongues as God gives the utterance.

9.  We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit that enables believers to live a holy life.

10.  We believe that the Church is the body of Christ with the expressed purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission.

11.  We believe that a divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been established by our Lord for the purpose of evangelizing the world, worshiping God and edifying the believer.

12.  We believe divine healing is provided by way of Christ’s death and resurrection and is the privilege of all believers.

13.  We believe the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their coming together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord is the imminent and blessed hope of the church.

14.  We believe in the Millennial Reign of Christ.

15.  We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.

16. We believe in a new heaven and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.
